Our Vision
- • Creation of civilized, self-dependent and equitable society.
Due to the distance from the district headquarter, limited government resources reached Bakamalang VDC (Nisdi-1) of Palpa district. The economic as well as educational status of the people was also poor. Still, some youths of the VDC were enthusiastic to engage in development activities. At that time BES was established in 1992, aiming to support children for their education. BES is registered at the District Administration Office Palpa (Reg. No. 43) and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council (A.N. 1157) as a non-political, non-religious, membership and community based development organization.
BES-Nepal operates as per its five-year strategic plans. It is affiliated with more than nine national networks and is well known as a child rights promoter organization. It is establishing itself as a model of organizational development by mobilizing its members, and has its own identity in the sectors of self-governance, inclusiveness, volunteerism, social harmony and social justice as a protector of human rights.
BES Nepal has long experience in social mobilization, working in education, health and nutrition in Palpa and neighbouring districts. It has practised the time movement, book reading habits and a positive thinking and acting culture. It has experienced, efficient and highly accountable human resources, and the communities actively work together with the organization.
